The year that Dad’s Uncle Raymond Horace Bredimus died, Dad got into some trouble of his own (1926 vandals article). The punishment he received probably left a lasting impression. I never knew of this story and it probably embarrassed Mommy and Poppy. One of his partners-in-crime was Bob Wormhoudt. I’ve attached obituaries for both Bobs.

So, it wasn’t just Uncle Raymond who got into trouble. Both Bob’s went on to live lives free of scandal. All families must have some similar stories. In any case, it was kept from us.
